Here are some ways you can help save the bees
- Use native blooming plants in your landscape.
- Check with your local bee club for removal of unwanted hives in walls, storage sheds, etc. before calling an exterminator.
- Don't use pesticides in your yard. Bees don't know which flowers have been treated with chemicals and may unknowingly gather poison nectar from a flower. Instead, use organic means of dealing with pests in your garden.
- Buy local honey.
- Become a beekeeper.
